Did you know??
🧿🧿 Light coloured eyes are most common in northern Europe and Scandinavia, to optimise the UV light getting into the eye (this is a good thing as promotes melanosopin, retinol and melatonin).
🤓 We need UV light fir a number of important body functions.
💡 My green eyes change colour in different lights... and now I understand why!
🏝 When UV light becomes stronger, like when you’re in holiday in the Caribbean, the iris will change colour. So when I look at holiday snaps, I always have lighter eyes!
This strengthens the muscles of the iris- which dilate and contracts the pupil. A smaller pupil allows in less UV light.
☀️ Your environment affects change in the body-> always trying to take care of us!
Take home message... Ditch the shades 🕶
So it’s super important that you take care of your eyes- its where the light interacts and the frequencies that are emitted help us to remain healthy and keep our body systems functioning.
We are beings of light
